But we’re certainly not surprised that Liam Payne has decided to take clippers to his follicles because it’s what all celebrities do after splitting up with their partner.

Liam’s breakover comes after his romance with long term girlfriend Danielle Peazer ended this week.

Some fans on Twitter have claimed that his new spikey-do (which normally we would say is more of a spikey-don’t) is his contribution for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Which is a much better reason.
