Reps for Chris Brown are blaming “non-stop negativity” for a seizure the singer apparently suffered early Friday morning. 

In a statement released over the weekend, Brown’s rep, Nicole Perna, described Chris’ setback as a “non-epileptic seizure” attributed to “intense emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the non-stop negativity.” 

Reports surfaced Friday, saying the Los Angeles City Fire Department had responded to a 9-1-1 call placed from the Record Plant studios where Brown was recording.  The singer refused treatment at the time and refused to be taken to the hospital.  

His rep says Chris has since been checked out by his own doctor who diagnosed him with symptoms of fatigue.
