Fans can now mark their calendars for Demi Lovatos official return to music.  The singer announced on Monday that her upcoming fourth album will be called “Demi” and will hit stores on May 14th through Hollywood Records. 

She also tweeted a photo of the albums edgy cover art, featuring the former Disney star wearing nothing but silver glitter and dark lipstick. 

The 20-year-old tells “MTV News” that “Demi” will be a continuation of her 2011 album Unbroken, which she released just after spending time in rehab.  She says shes thankful for the opportunity to be able to “let out a lot of things therapeutically” with her music.  Lovato co-wrote almost all of the songs on “Demi.”  The video for its lead single “Heart Attack” is set to premiere next Tuesday.
