The Black Eyed Peas singer welcomed a baby boy, Axl Jack Duhamel, on Thursday, August 29 in Los Angeles.

A rep for Josh confirms the healthy baby boy weighs 7 lbs., 10 oz.

Fergie and Josh announced in February that they were expecting a little bundle of joy via Twitter.

This past March Josh said he was preparing for fatherhood by “doing a lot of reading.”

"My wife is reading ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting’ right now," he elaborated. "We like to keep up on what’s actually happening. We are fascinated by the fact there is a little baby growing inside of her. Everyday we’re like, ‘Wow, this is actually happening! You can feel it growing!’ She calls it a life-force."

Fergie and Josh wed in January 2009. They first met in September 2004 on set of Duhamel’s NBC show “Las Vegas” and began dating shortly after. This is the first child for them both.
