"Glee" star Cory Monteith was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver, Canada Saturday July 13th. He was 31.

Foul play was immediately ruled out as cause of death and it was soon discovered death was caused from a lethal combination of heroin and alcohol.

Earlier this year, Monteith entered rehab for the second time to deal with substance abuse issues.

He was found in his room at the Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel. Hotel staff went to check Cory’s room around noon when he did not check out as planned. When they found him, he was already deceased.

Monteith gained fame as lead heartthrob Finn Hudson on Fox’s hit show, “Glee." The show is so far expected to continue without his character. He and co-star, opposite Lea Michele have been publicly dating for over a year.

Monteith’s body was cremated Tuesday in Vancouver following a private viewing with his family.
