This week John Mayer is playing some of his first live shows since recovering from over a year of issues with his vocal cords.

He says at its worst the condition left him unable to even speak for nearly 3 months!

While doctors tried everything including injecting Botox into his throat to shut down some of his muscle function.

The great news is now John is better than ever and rocking Madison Square Garden this coming Friday and rolling out a full tour in July.
