Katy Perry and Adam Levine are making headlines after they were spotted at the same recording studio in Los Angeles Wednesday.  But fans eager for a collaboration between the two may not want to hold their breath, after a tipoff from Sia. 

The Australian pop singer took to Twitter in what may have been an attempt to stop the rumors before they got a chance to start.  She posted a photo of herself and producer Diplo holding up umbrellas in the air to keep Katy “shielded from the paps in the trees.”  The caption reads “Actually, this picture is more valuable.” 

Katy herself has made no secret about being in the process of recording a new album of her own.  Her follow-up to 2010’s Teenage Dream is expected out later this year.
