Katy Parry has been preparing her fans for new music in a series of YouTube videos, the most recent video teasing her new single “Roar.”

Just days away from the release and premiere of her new song, Katy has unveiled the cover art to “Roar.” She tweeted:  

Katy is completely covered, wearing a blue jacket with a fierce tiger on the back. With very little make-up on, she’s also rocking her naturally dark locks - no blue wig (which she burned in one of her teaser videos). Shall we say hello kitty, and bye to the teenage dream?

Get ready to roar with Katy Perry! The song is set to be released August 12. ”Roar,” will be the lead single off Katy’s forthcoming album Prism, which drops on October 22nd.
