Mariah Carey is recovering from a minor injury to her shoulder.  A rep for the star confirms to the “New York Post" Mariah was injured late Sunday night while shooting the music video for the upcoming remix of her song “Beautiful." 

The singer was taken to a hospital after the shoot where doctors reset her shoulder.  Her rep says the former “American Idol" judge is fine and recovering at home.  Mariah’s husband Nick Cannon was directing the video on location at a pizza parlor in New York City.  

Sources tell the “Post" the injury may have been caused by Mariah tripping and falling in a pair of super high heels, adding that she is still scheduled to perform at this weekend’s MLB Hurricane Sandy Relief concert in Central Park.
