Rumors about the status of Miley Cyrus’ engagement to Liam Hemsworth are continuing to swirl.  A source is saying that the couple is “just weeks away from calling it off permanently.”  Apparently the Hunger Games actor is “over her” and “wants to make a clean break” from Miley, without anymore “back and forth.” 

The last time they made a red carpet appearance together was in early August for the premiere of Liam’s movie Paranoia.  The source says that the two “acted as if they were strangers” and that they are “not even sleeping in the same room” in Miley’s Los Angeles mansion where they both live.  

Breakup rumors have surrounded the young couple since February, when Liam was accused of cheating on the singer.  But these most-recent reports seem to stem from Miley’s behavior during her recent MTV Video Music Award performance, which her fiance reportedly did not
