One Direction is sticking up for their bandmate Harry against his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift.  Liam said that he felt it was unnecessary for Taylor to dedicate her Video Music Award to the person who inspired the song. 

Liam said he felt Taylor should “concentrate on [herself]” and joked that he “was going to do a Kanye” during her speech Sunday night. 

The boy’s ‘This is Us’ film hits theaters in the US on Friday.
