One Direction is responding to the fight-for-charity proposal from their long-running boy band rivals, The Wanted.  In an interview with “Metro UK,” the group didnt seem eager to take the Wanted up on their offer to get in a boxing ring for charity, suggesting that the group had backed out of a fight with them in the past. 

Louis Tomlinson tells the paper that the ongoing rivalry has become “boring” for him now, and that its time for them to “grow up.”  As far as the fight proposal goes, Louis says that the Wanted wouldnt “live up to their word” even if One Direction did accept.  Louis bandmate Liam Payne adds that both groups are “too busy anyway.” 

One Direction will start the U.S. leg of their “Take Me Home” tour this Thursday in Sunrise, Florida.
